Ive just tried to update my Data1 and now I have "CONTACT SUPPLIER "
"error 12" on clip and cant do anything wth it.
It was v5.19 and I tried to go to v7.06.
I opened DataONE Updater.exe then click onto 7.06 the PC showed "Flash mode on" "updating soft" and the Clip showed the same. Then the PC showed Error! then went back to update menu while the clip stayed on "Flash mode on" "updating soft" with backlight flashing off and on but nothing else happening.
Now clip only shows CONTACT SUPPLER error 12.

What does that mean and how do I resolve, Ive tried update 5.19, 7.06 and still get error. Ive tried on two different PCs with same result

Hi, take your batt out & also the 2mb green card! clean the 2mb card! make sure power is in the batt! then try to update again! i updated a few the other day and 1 did this to me! i did what i said here and it reflashed!

Thanks for your advice but as there is no support here I decided to do what it said and contacted reseller who said I should send back to him. It certainly confirms that you should only buy from GOOD RESELLER who actually communicates with customers.
