How do you advise to do that? No keypress possible after startup screen.

This sounds like a version error.

The clip only supports versions 1.01 - 1.04 at the moment.

Sounds like your phone may be a 1.05 or 1.06?

Did you follow the instructions in the instruction manual to check the version prior to unlocking? If the phone is now hanging it will need downgrading to 1.04 or below.

If you need a flashing cable to downgrade contact us:

I checked the version before unlocking. It was a ver 1.02 and it was unlocked via the procedure written on the manual.

It was used for 1 day and the customer came back, after it just would not boot. Stuck on the startup screen. -- > Are there any codes that can be pressed to force reset the phone?

Got similar problem with U8120 v1.01 after successful unlocking, customer goes back to us several hours later with the unit having menu problem.

is there a another way to correct this other than flashing? coz if there aren't any, we must be cautious when unlocking LG's. customers will complain.

This is totally unrelated to the unlocking with the clip we can assure you that, I have personally used 5 clips to unlock over 500 LG 8120 handsets, a mixture of 101, 102, 103 & a few 104 versions, and not a single handset from my customer was returned, that was just over 1 month ago.

These errors you are reffering to are inherent to the actual handsets and occur from customer use rather than unlocking.

@saejor
it's assuring to hear that these problems are not really related to unlocking using the clip. thanks. =)
