Nokia 6230 V4.43 Error In Unlocking - GSM-Forum

It alway say communication time out shut down. The clip is update to V4.1 already. I tried with 2 diff cable also the same results. Can anyone help?

I tried with my other customer 6230 V5.26 also same thing happened. *Sigh*

you are the second person that has reported a problem in unlocking 6230, but every time ive tried, it unlocks with no probs. I will have to look more into this and will report back asap. In mean time, do you know anyone else with a platinum clip that you can test the phones on? It might be the clip that is faulty.

Is it becos all mine are asian sets that why its unable to unlock? I tried with my friend 6230 also V5.26 just now it also give me the same problem. Headache for me now. Hopefully you can solve the problem fast cos all the $$$ is running away

I can unlock some other nokia phone so I dont think the clip is faulty.

Hello Boss I got your cables today I tried 3 of them but still none of them can reset the security lock of the 6230. It still the same error. If you want an asian 6230 to test out, I can purchase 1 on your behalf n sent it to you when I am back in my country.

aaaaahhhhh...you should have said before that you were reseting the security code, i thought you were trying to unlock and had no joy. Yes we know there is a problem with reseting the security code on the 6230 and some other models (7210/6610). We are currently looking into this and will be implemented in our next update.

Hi,
for reset Securitycode put a Simcard inside the phone
after Clip is Shutdown power off phone and on again
works for me on 95% on Nokiaphone with Securitycode
