i have a Platinum Talking Clip with software v 4.5 on it and am having trouble unlocking samsung d500.
i have tried to do 2 new phones. but will not work.
i have tried it a few times now. even put new batteries in it.
it just keeps telling me the phone must be off then led scroll across then it says shutdown.
and that's it...please can anyone help......
is there a way to test the d500 cable end....
i have done 5 other phones with it so the box is ok i think.....

He has sorted it! cable had a short in!

tried and tested steps i take - this works every time.

1. take out the sim card - i've found they dont like going into tat mode with them in!
2. when it says "the phone must be off" and you get the flashing sequence, QUICKLY press the power button on the handset. Another way it to start the unlock with the battery off then attach the battery when you get this message.
3. If you follow these steps and you still can't get it into tat mode then try again - it will eventually go into tat mode - i've had some stubborn handsets where perseverance is the key!

Never had a problem with D500s and I always leave the sim card in.

I think platinum clips is just becoming better, I have had one for more the six month and just realize how to use it becos I never read the manual until i did. Hope for the best.

You can also unlock your mobile using the unlocking code.
