i killed lg 8120 by flashing.... - GSM-Forum

i jst killed a LG8120 before the problem was jst blinking now its dead..... coz i dont know where to put the flashes.. what flash file must i use and where to put it... im using se1.118,

to where must i put the drive_c, drive_media. the fs_rec_uk, and the wcdma_4mbram.ssw????

i need your help!!

Hi,
Select LG3G page first, then click on "Add file", select all files you want, such as main, fs, drive_c, drive_media, and so on.
After that, only one thing left, just press "Flash Files".

sir tnx for your reply now the phone is alive but the problem is, it shuts off every 5-10 secs... i tried manual format also but still the same.. what else must i do sir??

BATTERY HAS TO BE FULLY CHARGE AND FLASH ALL 4 FILES.

HOPE YOU DID NOT HAVE A CORRUPTED FILE.

yes the battery is full and for sure the file is not corrupted because i downloaded it at the support site...

yes, it's my mistake, i forgot to add a field to write gdfs file for LG3G, but it will not affect you on writing gdfs, just select page "Sony Ericsson" and write gdfs files here.

sir.. i flashed the phone with gdfs... but still the same... after few seconds it shuts off.. any more advice sir?? pls redeagle.. i ndeed to repair this phone...

Hi,
Try another version of firmwares, for example, you formerly flash phone with UK v105 firmwares, now with UK v107 or Australia v105 instead, may you good luck.

ok sir i will try your suggestion... i also noticed that if i hook the charger with the phone it wont shut down automatically... and if i insert the sim with charger hooked the phone wont continue to boot up to its main menu... hope by flashing with another version can solve my problem..

or can somebody pls advice if it is still software problem or possible hardware problem?
