Hello,
I,ve got a problem with a CECT T689:the phone is new(it has about 2 weeks since the client bought it) and is comporting strangelly;without SIM is working,after I insert a SIM in it the phone is restarting.I tried to connect it with Infinity for a format FFS but the phone it's don't want to connect to the box.The pinout is OK but I can't format it.Any idea?

"ChineseMiracle": how to repair "reboot with SIM card"

1. make full flash backup for emergency case (use 921000 speed for fast operation)
2. select "safe format method"
3. make "format ffs"
4. remove/install battery
5. press and hold phone "Power" button during 30-40 sec to make phone powered-on
if phone Ok go to step-6
if phone not Ok, go to step 2 and select "complete format method"
6. restore original imei

Sorry for opening a stupid tread but I solved the problem.The cable that I use it was new but damaged;after I replaced the cable,made again the pinout,the phone has conected and works OK.I gave it format FFS and it's working OK!
