You forgot the first two pins of the 7-pin interface. Pins 1 and 2 are tx and rx... That's for the new rm-217!

just chnage Rx->TX and TX-> RX and try then ..

or post a Clear picture again ...

yes, unfortunately, different PCB configuration has different pinouts.
best way is to quickly chek pinout on Each phone.
here is easy example:
G-TIDE G19 pinouts needed please
