Help Strange Problem On S288 - GSM-Forum

Hello,

I have got a strange S288.It's display is coloured.I've never seen this.
It was powering off as you try to make a call so i flashed it and it completed properly.

It now switches on okay and calls fine only that the display is now blank.
Nothing shows completely.

I have treid to flash it again with different firmware but still display does not show a thing.

What do you think i should do?

Are you sure it's S288 but not S688 or S788 ?

Ya i'm sure.

It's written on TYPE: S288 MOBILE on the imei label.
I'm just wondering about the colour display.

Could it be an S688 or S788 in covers of S288?

What do you think?

Hi,

I never have seen any S288 with colour LCD. All S288 was with B/W LCD.

Please, tell me exactly all information from phone back label.

Mybe AbdulKadir you should read the CPU written information and the Team might know the model of the phone

Hi,

If it's really S288 and it's really with colour LCD I think there is only one chance to repair phone:
need to find the same phone, read flash from it, write flash back to your phone.
Currently I have no any flash files for S288 with colour LCD.
