After flash VK900 Problem @Support - GSM-Forum

Dear,

I flash the CN file download from support area, after flash power on phone, just show "VK logo" and then power off, please help and before i send you Hongkong version backup flash file, can you make is for firmware and FFS file ? thanks

vk900 try every flash from ur support but none works, vk900 dead after flash.
It still accepts flashing. please put good flash in support, thank you.

What is this phone history ?

After flashing try to press and hold phone power button for some time (it's need some time for file system rebuilding).

phone had key lock, tried to unlock this, after unlock blank, tried to flash, after flash "update filesystem" restarting, but not more than that. any advice?

"phone dead" <> "restarting"

as I can understand:
after flashing phone tied to power on but can't power on. Instead of normal power-on process you see on phone LCD text "update filesystem" and phone restart.
Is it complete problem description or you can add something ?

Do you see the same restarting problem after flashing different flash files ?

If my description of problem was correct, try to make this:

Downlaod from support area just uploaded files: Repair File System
VK900_FFS_01.26F.bin (145 KB)
VK900_FFS_02.26F.bin (72 KB)
VK900_FFS_03.26F.bin (107 KB)
VK900_FFS_04.26F.bin (97 KB)

Flash it one by one (only file system files, no need to flash firmware every time) and see results.

I tried all of the ffs files, still no good, vk900 try to start up but keeps blinking from gray to black, flashing still works, any more ideas? maybe put another flash in support, thank you.

VK900Z20_HZ3.20R_Th.26M.bin file is the only one where I get a brief logo at start up and then "update filesystem" and phone restarting. it has a date label at the back 31/03/06 covering a screw. it was working before I connect to infinity trying to unlock key lock. please help.

Hi,
Flash phone with VK900Z20_HZ3.20R_Th, try to power on, let phone try to start and make several restart cycles. Remove battery, put back, read flash and send to [email protected] (pls, include full text from back phone label, imei too).
What languages was in phone ?

Other flash files: all files that we have already uploaded in support area.

Backup_full_part_1_of_2_2006-4-17_17-55-37.26X.bin 3.8mb and Backup_full_part_2_of_2_2006-4-17_18-8-44.26X.bin 2.9mb big,

are they from new vk900 hardware?
your files in support, are way different size:
main flash about 13.5mb and fss file only about 100 kb.
I sent you the back up with info to your posted email.
