i received the set in dead condition and when you plug it in usb you only have mtk usb port i tried with cm2mtk to read info

Hello,
Preloader erased phones are not supported yet, team is working to add it.
And Alcatel uses Secure Boot, so select SP: Autodetect Secure Emmc option in CPU in setting tab.

Never. NEVER. NEVER SET SECURE mode, until CM2 not ask to try it. Alcatel SP not used secure mode, as far, as I know ( at least - not seen any yet )

If SW already re-installed , and you not have sometimes some error messages, like "Range Check Error" or something else - that is trange. If have - clean your reader , card and after re-install - try again.

MT6571 , MT6572 FlashInit exists and allow boot phones with erased preloader. Most of current , unsupported adding in every update. 6582|6589 will follow soon.

Hello,
No need to use Secure mode until software asks to do so.
Try Re-Install CM2MTK module and check again.
Try to read firmware from another phone and write it to faulty phone.
MT6571, MT6572 phones with erased preloader are mostly supported, so should work, as JayDi said in above post.
