Alcatel MEPD Not Present cause ? - GSM-Forum

Hello
We already know that unlocking by Infinity cannot cause this problem.
I had 2 Alcatel E101 come in this morning displaying (MEPD Not Present)
Can someone please explain technically what is the root cause of this error?
Is some type of other unlock box the reason or our MEPD errors?
Could it be some security area within the EEPROM not being calced correctly?

Hello,

It\'s serious eeprom problem, eeprom is damaged.
It\'s not possible to repair this kind of fault with Infinity-Box yet.

I don't agree, new phone became in this state after infinity writing errors while unlocking. I don't blame the soft for causing this as the cable connection is a real hassle with this phone and sometimes users forget to check if the battery is fully charged. But why can't I repair it with infinity while furious does it in seconds?
