Ask File Can't Be Created - GSM-Forum

these days when ever i try to flash any chinese phone the software says ASK file cannot be created and the set is dead. i have about 3 N95 phones with this problem. at first i was not having such problems. i even tried to flash a phone that was flashed by me before and ask file was created for RPL calculation. after flashing this set agan software told me ASK file cant be created and set is dead, believe me this set was flashed by me before and i succeeded with ask/rpl calculation but after trying again its dead. WHATS THE PROBLEM? customer is about to toast me

Hello,

the best way to get answer in your situation:
1. post log here so I can check what is the problem
2. write here what flash files you have used

- make "Read detailed information" operation
- send "backup_system_log_..." file to support
- make "Read full flash" operation
- send flash backup file(s) to support
- include in your e-mail full text from phone back label (phone name etc.)
- be little bit patient and wait update
Finished, time used: 96 sec
Remove/Install battery now !

yes thats what i'm talking about, i have been able to flash this phone before and also succeeded with ask/rpl calculation with the same firmware so i dont know why this time around its giving me this problem.

infinity team any idea? has anybody faced such a problem before? please suggest somehing? customer is on my neck

How about to follow at least first step from instruction ?
Did you tried to read instruction given by software ?

1. download latest software from support area and try again !

also, I am sure that if software say you this info now it was not posible to flash this phone before. Probably it was other firmware version.

According to text from your log I think that you have used more old version. Please, double check what software you have used.

Use the Good Firmware anf try to repir security area
