It was really hard days for me because I have spent several nights absolutely w/o sleep and my final decision is: GSM business now is only for very smart people (and it's not for me so I don't know what to do now). Why for very smart ? Here is the answer... And the answer is a real example of e-mail that was received by me days ago: --------------------------------------- subject: flash file message body: Hello sir i sendding you flash file also please help Thanks --------------------------------------- Why for very smart ? Oh... yea, I forgot The Answer: because only very smart man can understand what to answer back to sender of this message. And for sure, I am not so smart and want to confirm: any e-mail, icq msg, forum msg etc. with description like you can read above will be ignored by me. Just want to repeat, it's a real example of e-mail that was received by me. It's not a first mail with this kind of "description" and for sure not last, but I hope that this my message can helps to make our life little bit easier. Thank you in advance for your kind attention, understanding and cooperation ! Some hints how to write e-mail or ask for help: 1. start your message from well-known words like "Hello", "Hi", "Good day", "Good night", "Dear Sir" etc. 2. sometimes it's not bad idea to include your dongle S/N in message. You can't beleive, but some really serious persons (I think now that it was somebody from Panasonic or at least James Bond helpers) hide dongle S/N in screenshots even when they send this screenshot to me and ask for help. What do you think, what kind of help they can get when I see that screenshot contain no serial no ? 3. describe phone model, text from phone back label, firmware version etc. 4. describe phone history so detailed as possible 5. describe phone current status/condition/problem so detailed as possible 6. attach log file or text from software Log window. !!! Never send me screenshots !!! 7. finish your message with well-known words like "See you", "Best Regards" etc. 8. write your name/nick name so we know how to write message back to you (you see, it will be not so good if I'll write just "Hi" to Panasonic president, it will be much more reasonoble for me to wite something like "Dear Mr. President" instead of simple "Hi"). 9. if you forgot something, write two capital letters "P.S." and continue your message 10. Member: 18303 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | Well what we can say about this...as you may know there are many new boys in this field...making this hard for others.And they think themselves really very smart.Thats why many threads in this forum are full of useless and nonsense posts. Another dilema is that many people selling (Resslers) these unlocking devices....just coz they want money...in return and sadly they know nothing about basic electronics and computers.I hope that people start learning as you said little things about this biz and morality. BR |

Personally,I already sent a few emails which contain some backup flash files to supporter own mail box in the past. And I just did like that coz I think Infinity's support site will be more powerfull then(for example:some customers here just asked me before they decide to buy Dongle: (Does Infinity has Vietnamese language for Motorola,Panasonic,... and so on). For me,Infinity team is always the best team in supporting customer I have ever known till now. ;-) B/r |

And now it's time for new generation of mega smart people: "Summer" unlockers. This new kind of unlockers can't explain what is the problem they have, even don't try to explain it, they think that everybody around must make only one thing: trying to understand that "Summer" unlockers want to say. So, Dear "Summer" Unlockers who read this my stupid post: if you want to get any help, please, try to make problem description so clear and so detailed as possible (of course, it's hard, but please, try to use your brain at least for detailed problem description). We get customers in our shop who come in and hold the phone up in front of us and say "can you fix this phone?", we ask, "whats the problem" the reply we get is "its knackered" I like to think that this is a professional business but a lot of people are in it to make quick money and are not bothered to use simple common sense, one example is the search button, over half the problems people have can be sorted by using the search button. We appreciate all your hard work infinity team, keep it up. |

Also, I think soon we will need one more person in our support team with position like "incoming e-mail message decoder/decryptor". So, if you have good experience, we are waiting for your offers |
