I have a C168 dead phone. i try flash but getting error " Probably wrong model selected. Continue anyway ?"

how many % was written before failure ?
also try at 115200.

hi, yes I tried to braud rate all speeds error same. This is not a flash failed phone. this i got from a sealed box. i don't know what is the problem...

The handset showed no IMEI. Tried flash, as said above i also got the same error and pressed Yes to continue. Now the handset is dead

Hope c168 flashing problem will be fixed in nearest days.

Check "FlashFilesDescription" in support area and select correct set of files. "Pack error" means that wrong files was selected.

for c168 highest speed is not recomended - many errors (checked on good one) and also if you have such errors try to use simple rs232 interface via nonusb emulated port or use pl2303 based cable and try then, most errors like yours was caused by flashing with FTDI based box in my case, ordinary com cable through com port - result ok, so try and post results...
