Hi Guys,

I am very new to this BOX...ive followed every step in the manual to setup the Infinity Plus Box to my pc but still it dosnt work.

the manual mentions about a dongle to read the serial number n stuff but i didnt get a dongle with this box...do i have to get one?? where can i get it??

i am providing you guys the error message below:

Dongle can't be found
Error when establishing contest !
Smart card API error #8010001D
The Smart card resource manager is not running
------------------------------------------------

This indicates that u havent installed ur Box properly.
Read the instructions again and install.

Please, follow installation manual and see your problems description/solution here:
F.A.Q., Contacts, Supported models, Cables/pinouts

this problem was described already so I hope you can read "FAQ" and solve problem in 1 minute.

Also, it's good idea always read "FAQ" before ask questions. I have spend A LOT of time and prepared "FAQ" thread especially for people who have the same problems due to their PC faults, cable problems etc.

Hi,

I have fixed the "smart card resource manager is not running": error thanx to the support

but now another prob has comeup,..why is this box so diffcult to setup...my system cannot find the dongle.

i have installed the drivers as mentioned in the manual..but my system only shows:

e-gate Virtual Reader Enumerator->e-gate Virtual Reader Enumerator

dosnt show:

Smart Card reader-> e-gate USB Smart card reader
e-gate USB Smart Cards-> e-gate USB Smart Card

what seems to b the problem...i got the box jus 2 days back but still i am havin difficulty in setting it up for a working conditions

Hello,

Please, follow installation steps exactly like described in manual.
Also, if it was "smart card resource manager is not running" before it can be that some things was changed/deleted on your PC, probably your PC little bit faulty.
Also it's good idea to try other USB slot on your PC.

i will and will let you know...i think theres a prob with the boc

my pc is not faulty

Config:
---------------------------
PIV 3.20GHz hyper threading
512 DDR RAM
300GB HDD

i fixed it...there was a prob wit the smart card..i cleaned it n fixed it again ..now works fine
