first u check the power cable if not solve the u have to uninstall infinity setup & drivers & then install again & restart the pc.if problem is not solve the try with another pc.

Hi,
Mine is also dead from yesterday. I unlock an kp107 like kp105, then I try to read fullflash , sw hangs, after a while I reset the computer and leave the idea to read kp107. Today when I try dongle, I found it dead. Here are some pictures.
I look at dongle and physical looks ok.

Need some help from infinity team to revive dongle.

Hello,

Try to insert smart-card in another card-reader (f.e setool etc.) and see results.
Also you can try to remove card from box, gently clean smart-card contacts, insert card back.

i have same problem than i open my infnity box and clean smart card & connecter both.. box started working

I clean up contacts, I check for continuity and is ok, but same result dongle not found. I see this is a simply card reader. Other card reader that I have are usbsmart and jaf but are with atmega64 inside. Can I try with one of theme?

Hello,

Usbsmart card reader is not compatible with e-gate smart cards.
It is need to use the same easy card reader (f.e Setool, Cruiser, Vygis).

I tested on setool and card is damaged. How can u help me?

Hello,

If card can not be detected with another card-reader it may be that card (as any other hardware) become damaged.
If your box is under warranty period, you can contact to your reseller to talk about warranty (any kind of this procedure should be done via reseller, we do not make any replacement directly).
If box is quite old you need to buy another smart-card.

Yes my box is old, also in excelent condition and I thought there is a way to buy from the source or from an reseller just a replace card (like a postwarranty), not again the box with 2xx EUR. If my car has ECU damaged, I buy a new one, not a new car.

Isn't that possibly?

Hello,

It's possible to buy just a smart-card, it should be cheaper than full box set.
Try to ask nearest resellers about cards.
