error finding dongle - GSM-Forum

i have an infinity box which i have been using for the past 3 years. now its been over a month which i didnt use. i connected the box and when i try to run any software or upgrade the firmware it say error dongle not found. i installed new drivers new infinity and also another computer any help please sìnce i need the box working

Hi,

If smart-card can not be detected you have to double check that you really have box connected to PC. It may be that smart-card did not installed well.
Also you can remove card from box, gently clean card contacts and insert card back.

Yes, you have to open box.
So I suggest you to contact to your reseller before open box to avoid problems with warranty (if box is still under warranty).
