Member: 148515 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 19,534 | hello! 1. set multimeter to voltage measuring. 2. power Onphone 3. set one multimeter probe to some grounded phone part (if you cant find grounded part outside phone- you need to take out small thin wire from negative battery terminal) 4. with second probe touch one by one all phone pins (phone must be powered On) (to get better result i would advice to set needle on the end of second probe) memorise pins with voltage between 2,7-2,9volts. those are tx/rx |

Member: 505446 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 45 | sir i have tried this trick but i am bit confused because i do not see any of the USB unit's pins giving beep with ground when phone is powerd on(i mean Tx as it is mentioned in the chapter "how to find pinouts")i find three pins producing 2.89V when i switched the phone on,one of them is supposed to be Tx(Tx should give a beep with ground when phone is on),but it does not happen. |

Member: 505446 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 45 | G-Tide G28 pin outs are found. Guys i have found the pinouts for G-Tide G28,for ease of users a snap shot is attatched. But let expose one fact to all users that it is not necessary in all cases that Tx of the phone should give beep with ground while checking contineuety.like in this case charging unit(USB pin of the G28) does not includes pinouts of the phone, but pin outs are found under the LCD and Tx does not give any beep with ground when i was checking the contineouty while phone was switched on.so that theory can miss guide you guys.anyway good luck to all and thanks to every body who ever gave me some hints to solve this problem. |
