G60 faulty cable and Unibox cables

Can we use regular Unibox cables with our Infinity box ? I ask because I have a faulty G60 lead with my Infinity box and have a Unibox coming shortly.

I've been using a serial G60 cable to unlock in the meantime, however I have been unable to Read Flash, it just says Connecting, then seems to do nothing.

Its a shame because I have a G60 with Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Turkish on, that other users may need.

Hello !

I think that regular Unibox cables have to work with InfinityBox too.
Anyway, I'll check pinout and will inform you some time later.

As about cable for G60/X100/X500/A200:
Check attached picture. It can be that regular Unibox cables don't have pin1-pin6 connection, but this modification is required for flashing.

Thanks Infinity, I'll try and get in touch with my reseller in the meantime to see if I can get a replacement G60 cable. Then hopefully I can get these languages to you

Hello !

Maybe I understand your question not so good.
Anyway, here is RJ-45 to G60 connector connections:

RJ45 FEMALE. Connector pins up. From left to right

RJ45 -> G60
2 -> 9
3 -> 8
7 -> 1
7 -> 6

Hello !

I just see number of your posts, and I think it's no need to ask you to check COM port selection

Connector: Pin-1 have to be connected to Pin-6 for flashing. Unlock/UserLock have to work w/o this pin short. But anyway, better make phone connector Pin-1 to Pin-6 connected.

Phone have to be switched On before operation.
Also, check box green LED pls (during unlock try). Do you see any green LED activity ?

hi mate.

green LED (Rx) turns ON only when the switch is turned on Mbus . If FBus is selected it does not turn on. That is this turns on only on the right hand side of the box.

thanks

Hello !

Both box switches have to be in UP position (Box power and F-BUS activated).
If you use USB part of box, then you need to use left RJ-45. If you use COM cable, then use right RJ-45.

Also, if you have any other G60 cable, can you try to use it ?

Hi Infinity Team

I contacted my reseller as I said earlier in this thread and they sent me another RJ45 cable - still same problems I'm afraid... I contact connect at all using RJ45 cable and box, and I have tried every combination off connections.

I can unlock and flash with regular serial (COM) cable plugged into my serial port of PC, but I cannot read the flash of any phone still.

Hello !

Could you, please, give us text from Log window when you tried to read flash ?
We will try to check what is wrong.

And as about G60 cable with our Unibox. Could you, pls, give us Log text too when you try to make any operation with our Unibox and G60 cable.

Thank you !

Then it does nothing

If you press STOP you get this

Press Power button...

User break
Error: bad ACK2:
Failed !
Finished
Time used: 159 sec
Strange Yet it can do all other functions, such as User Code, SP-Unlock, Repair IMEI, and flashing, eithout any problems
