help unlocking pantech c3 cingular - GSM-Forum

i am trying for my first time to unlock the pantech c3 and every time i do sp unlock it gives me the following

COM3 [VCP0] selected
Phone must be POWERED-ON !
Cable must be in "DATA" mode !
Connecting, wait...
error: connection failed, try again !
error: operation not finished properly
Finished, time used: 15 sec
Power-off phone by "Power" button (don't remove battery).

i am using the pantech 300 cable that came with the box.

hello!

this is tested on other phones cable or new?
what other operations say? for example if you try to read out full flash?

the phone read the full flash but still when i do sp unlock it gives the same message and the strange thing is that the red and green leds (RX & TX) keep flashing together quickly in the same time before it gives me this message
