how to fix emmc readonly ?


Operation : HW Test [ v1.40 ]

1. Power Off Phone , Remove battery , Insert back
2. Insert USB cable. In some cases require hold BootKey

There is little other reason of problem.
Yes, some samsung eMMC's is buggy well. But most of MTK's eMMC die due much badblock count. In some moment eMMC controller decide it time to stop and set PERM_WRITE_PROTECT flag to avoid of data lost.

Reset will bring it back. For month, maybe two. And it will die again. Maybe, will be enough 5 minutes.

For Samsung emmc chip Can be recovered in jtag box with ISP direct connection (only if you need long life you must write internal emmc firmware ) but for other brands emmc chip like (hynix ,Toshiba ,kingston, ....) Its only replace chip
