How to make full working backup in new alcatel phones? - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I try make full backup (flash, nvram, prd..), format whole flash and restore full backup in new models of mtk Alcatel, like 4034x,5010x, 5045x... but after flash the phones no boot, stuck in logo.

Only boot again with cfw by twrp.

What is the correct procedure for full backup and restore it?

Please help Mr. Jaydi

Hello. Post logs.
Some models require 10-15 minutes to boot.
In some cases require wipe, instead of default userdata.

cm2 dont read userdata which is important in these phones
you can read fullflash with spft and split it in hex editor

i think we need checkbox in cm2 - for read userdata or use default one generated by cm2

Cm2 make default one.
Wipe force phone rebuild by itself.
And final step - repair MInfo for alcatel. Need select alcatel mode.

Ok, customer flash custom rom and boot,

I flash full backup without preloader, flash backup nvram and flash backup prd.
I make "repair minfo"
And phone working ok! (but I no way for flash preloader...)
