Sir, many chinese sets are not matching with standard imei numbers that are calculated by chinese miracle. Last digit was not matching on the back side of the phone label. If we still try to write imei with the 14 digits phone it is getting restarted. Tried with other boxes ( spiderman) it has option to edit the last digit too, and got the restart problem solved.

bro, the last digit is auto calculated...you don't have to edit that..

yes we need to edit last imei digits,somtimes it may differ friom the imei of the unit at the backhousing....

Please, check message by respected Mr. carlluvjo.

I can confirm: last imei digit (digit #15) should be calculated by special standard well-known algorithm and should be exactly like calculated by software.
If last digit is incorrect it may be a reason of problems with network registration etc.

Thanks for the reply, but rules are for nokia,samsung, lg and all, but chinese they dont have such rules I think. If you want I can attach photos of labels of imei number printed on chinese phones. From last two months I am facing problems with three phones which are being restarted, solved by entering exact number from the backlabel using sxxxxxxx !. They are working fine without restart. Hope you understand the problem. And think twice on the situation people are facing.
