hello everybody...

the usb port of my infinity box is not working

Now i m working with LPT com port.

Can anyone help me 4 this problem?

when u connecet to usb go to device manager and check if device is recongnised by pc.

when i connect the usb with Infinity box it show usb in Universal serial bus

controllers, with generic usb hub name.

it should be show usb in port section

Hello,

you need to update drivers and use VCP drivers (C:\Program Files\InfinityBox\Drivers\box\FTDI) instead of D2xx drivers.

HELLO SIR : Infinity team

Before some Days i was Buy a Infinity box from Lahore

After Installation of drivers and box when i connect a usb cable with its usb port. I go to Device manager i saw that there is not show the usb in port section. first i think that its my installation problem but i have for it more and more.
After this case i contact with my Infinity resaler he says that ''its your problem brother'' because its usb port have been shot.
i think that its a big cheating with me.
Now i use only LPT port(serial com).

and Now sir only you can help me for it

you don't need to change these 2 IC.
If you still cant update drivers to make box working as VCP you can use one of these options:
1. erase unibox eeprom (or write it with special eeprom file from "utilities" folder in support area). Use MProg software from www.ftdichip.com
2. desolder eeprom IC (IC3 on picture)

i have find a software with name of VPROG Re-Flash Utility (COM Port Version).

sir please give me a correct link. where i can find the mprog software as you require to me.
