About phones models no one can tell exactly beacuse lots of companies with thousands of models are present in market for chinese phones . What basically depends is cpu type.

If you need Multibrand tool - its Main Infinity Box - work via Rx/Tx or via USB for some models
If you need tool for Nokia - its [BEST] - works via USB in most cases but in some cases you can use other interfaces.
