Infinity Box USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED Help! - GSM-Forum

After i change a new PC & format install with a fresh Windows XP SP2, then i follow driver installation "Infinity-Box_Drivers_v1.4"

W2K/XP/Vista

1. Run: x:\Program Files\InfinityBox\Drivers\Box\e-gate_W2k_XP_Vista\Setup_W2k_XP.exeorSetup_Vista.exe
2. Connect box (dongle) to PC USB port, your system have three new devices:
1. e-gate Virtual Reader Enumerators -> e-gate Virtual Reader Enumerator
2. Smart card readers -> e-gate USB Smart card reader
3. e-gate USB Smart Cards -> e-gate USB Smart Card
3. Connect box to PC USB port and select drivers: x:\Program Files\InfinityBox\Drivers\Box\FTDI

the problem now is when i plug in infinity box, the status is "USB Device Not Recognized"

Please Help & advice how to solve this problem

Please, read our installation manual, you will see pictures of devices that shold be installed on your PC.
Check what devices you hasve and what required devices you can't see in Device manager.

cek your usb port and check cable box to pc...probabilty cable not good connected...

This is a brand new PC, somemore my all usb port build-in with pc motherboard 4 pcs 100% can use. even usb cable also tried to change more than 5 pcs already. i have JAF+pKey,MTbox nokia,Setool,cruiser also connected to my pc without any problem. only infinity box got this "USB Device Not Recognized".

please help!

I ever problem like that in fourius box..I try change usbcable with cable ...and choose usbport on bottom mainbord and problem solve..

...if not solve..try with another pc..

I didn't ignore ur message...And i already done every step provided from the installation manual, & posted in my very 1st post!!!
Infinity Box USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED Help!
very clear with my device manager status is "UNKNOWN DEVICE"
but still having the same problem. So who should i refer now?

if you are using p4 computer than install into a mother bord driver cd from usb driver2.0 (for you pc usb ports) than try it,s work 100%

No, my pc spec is Intel Core2 1.8Ghz with Gigabyte socket 775 motherboard builtin with 4 ports 2.0 USB sockets. i dun think need to install 2.0 USB driver for my PC.

Could you, please, give me an answer (I ask the same question again and again): what devices installed correctly and what devices is not installed ? You have an example of installed devices with more than clear explanation in our Installation manual.

try another usb ext.....

if still same, open your box, check connections on usb & also remove smartcard and clean, including sim reader

He is unable to check his PC Devicemanager so any future advices is just waste of time.
