Infinity Installation problems

Hi,

We have recently purchased our dongle from PremierGSM Uk.
Always seem to have the following error when trying to run infinity SN Reader!

Box not found!
Insert Box and restart software!

We have installed the devices exactly as described in the manuel!
We have also tried to install this on 4X machines with always same problems! ???

Is our dongle faulty or are we doing some thing wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Please, give me some info:

1. What OS installed on your PC ?

2. Do you see in Device manager the next items ?
Smart Card Readers -> e-Gate USB Smart Card reader
e-gate Virtual Reader Enumerators

3. When you insert dongle in USB port, do you see any PC activity in Device Manager (I mean new device detection) ?
After you insert Dongle in USB port you have to see in DeviceManager new device:
e-Gate USB Smart Cards -> e-Gate USB Smart Cards

4. Do you see red LED blinking when you insert dongle in USB PC port ?

Hi,

1)Windows (tried on 3 machines) + 1x windows 98 machine

2)Yes , sees all items. When you remove the usb card... they are no longer visable.

3)When you insert dongle in USB port, do you see any PC activity in Device Manager (I mean new device detection) ?

YES!

4) Do you see red LED blinking when you insert dongle in USB PC port ?

NO ...ONLY A GREEN LED..

This whole problem is very weird.
I have checked all the above too....extremely weird!

ask your resller to change the dongle for you
may be the dongle is faulty ?
Its worth a try
