Infinity Installing

Hey guys. I just received my tools to unlock my panasonic x700. I'm new to this so please bare with me.

I'm having trouble installing some of the software. I've done everything step by step (Install infinity driver 1.2/SN Reader/MainSetUpv2.3) and have had no problem. I searched through the forums and in the FAQ topic I saw that alot of people were having problems with install at SmartCard/EGate stage of the install. All 3 appear perfectly in my device manager screen, but what I don't see is under ports there isn't a "Panasonic Mobilephone Connectivity Device" item (supplied a screenshot). Could this be my problem? I connect my phone (x700) using the x70 cable supplied with the box and I don't get any sort of message on my comp saying a device has been read. I should be receiving a something under the liens of "panasonic phone ___" under my modem tab once a phone is connected, yet I have nothing popping under it.

I have my switch towards the "F-bus" on my box and no leds(RX/TX) light up when the phone is connected.
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced from a n00b

Hi,

Please, read X700 unlock instruction again and make unlock process exactly step by step.

when you connect x700 with ordinary X70 cable: use COM3 (by your attached picture)
when you connect X700 by USB cable: you will see "Panasonic Mobilephone Connectivity Device"
