Infinix X606b reset password prob - GSM-Forum

Dear Infinity Support:

Today i got infinix hot 6 (X606b) with chip mtk6580 protected with password, the user forgot the password, i tried to reset it using cm2mtk v 1.58 n using cm2mt2 v 2.00r4 but no success, even with using special da file on all base settings but no success.. Any one can help me??

hey buddy boot to recovery menu(volume up+power key) when recovery menu appears scroll down untill you see more select it then choose wipe data.

Hello,
Post logs from software.
Correct DA + preloader + Auth mostly enough to connect phone.

I can't get into recovery mode, the screen shows a message "XOS Hummingbird No command" with a red trianggle

I looked for auth file for mtk 5680 but i couldn't find any, but i found one for mtk general on the forum "Sp flashtool authentication file!", with preloader from 4 different versions of software, n DA files provided with different bases.

Finally i got error Legacy MTK, device is not supported yet

First use CM2 version 1.58....then use the DA of tecno ka7 , it works on x606.....replace the DA in boot folder and try...

If that not working add preloader and scatter file....

Post log..log..log...if you wont help

on no command screen press power key and keep on pressing volume up until you see recovery menu
