Ininity Soft + Pinfinder Problem with XP SP3 - GSM-Forum

Since i have installed XP SP3 on my system
i am facing real headache with infinity and pinfinder software

infinity software problem is

when i run infinity main soft it take ages to run.

Pinfinder problem is

Simply i can't use it
freezes at start and cann't go further.

Does anyone have same problem like me :-(

any solution support team ?

ps.
my sys is clean from virus/trojan a/v is updated to current date aswell

my best advice is using xp sp2 i dont have problems on my infinty & pinfinder and it works faster on that OS...

i'm also using XP SP3 but i've no problem using infinity Software or PinFinder.

Hello,
open "setup.ini" file (located in folder with module, each module has it's own setup.ini file) in any text editor and set value:

PortSearchMode=00

in this case software do not detect available COM ports automatically and software can run much faster.
This kind of problems was detected NOT with SP3 but with some kind of Bluetooth/BlackBerry/Lg3G COM ports (if this types of ports exist in your system software can start very slow).

Waiting for results.

i install sp3 and i install main setup 2.15a i run infinity soft resultat pc restart
i install sp2 all work fine

this trick solved main soft problem but not pinfinder
i doubt thats sp3 problem.

So it means you have the heavily installed Programs on your PC ....... whcih makes your Pc slower or some virus is there........

i have original windows XP sp 2 and infinity + pinfinders installed on it , when microsoft released SP 3 my computer auto. update it , now i have windows Xp service pack 3 , almost every box is runing supper class , as i think there is problem with your windows , always use Original Windows , any way try to reinstall with any other CD if you have not original window's Cd or dvd. if you wana install windows with sp3 then its better to install window sp 2 then update only service pack !! try ans post results

i install double than current and no prob when sp2
