Lenovo s930 MTK6582 - Format Success but all Data remains. - GSM-Forum

Lenovo S930 MTK6582

hard reset or format doesn't work in this model. it shows completed successfully but all data in phone remains intact.

i tried from the recovery menu and from SP Tool latest. All says Done ..but data remains, nothing wiped.

I tried Format All + Download in SP Tool , it again success, but remains data intact.

also tried from CM2 test version v0.03 , but it is showing error

Code:

Chinese Miracle II  [MTK module] v 0.03

Operation : Format FileSystem [ v0.03 ]

1. Power Off Phone , Remove battery , Insert back
2. Insert USB cable. In some cases require hold BootKey ( '*' )

Wait for phone...
Phone found! [ 233 ]
Sync...
Sync Ok, read regs...
Initial Register Read Failed (HW/Connection Error)
Boot Error!
Elapsed: 00:00:47
Reconnect Power/Cable!

Can i format this phone in new CM2 ? So i can activate the subscription.

no you u cant because i think emmc goes corrupt and now its only in read only state

use latest version to test hardware

may be emmc problem..

Try flash it more. After 1000+ times it will work, I sure.

Hi JayDi this is just to confirm does infinity have any known solutions for this kind of problem ( if it is a software problem ) , am not asking any software solutions for hardware problems in the phone.
