MASS upgreading software - always backup - GSM-Forum

I have 500psc phones to update software
I was translating language in LPE
At the moment i`m writing fullflash by China miracle
But program always must make backup-software
It takes 6min, and dan writing fullflash next 6min

How to disable backup. I don`t need making it all time

Pls help firends

Hello,

Please, post here operation log text (firmware flashing operation) so we will be able to check it more detailed. You can find operation log in operation.log file in folder with software module.

I found "Backup system area (slow but safe)"
Now it takes 7min

Hello,

I think that this problem may be a result of "new unknown" firmware found. In this situation software try to read "new unknown" firmware in any case before flashing.
Please, check it with other phones that you will try to flash.

hello!

if you will use "smart write" option your flashing time should be arround 2 minutes
do you use this option?

Yes im using it, during 6-7min

ok, then must be lang pack is spread all over firmware, so this is taking long
