Lobster 485 says Sim Invalid,Plz help!!!! - GSM-Forum

Hi,
I have one lobster,customer brought it to me (i dnt know maybe he tried to unlock it from someone else) anyway what happens now is that when i put a virgin simcard it says sim invalid (fone is on virgin) when i put any other sim card it was saying contact service provider so wat i did actually i wrote eeprom and then unlocked it now it goes through with anyother simcard but doesnt connect calls and its imei is changed as well,i dnt know wat else to do now so if u guys can plz help me about wat to do next,how to put the original imei back on phone.

Hello,

You can use any of 9 eeprom files from support area, check network and imei after each eeprom file usage.

thankyou very much for ur reply,yeah it worked...its working with all the simcard(i have unlocked it aswell) but i cant bring back the original imei which is a shame.but rest of the fone is ok now if u could plz help me sort out its imei i will be more than happy and thankfull to u.i have wrote all the eeproms in the flash file section but it always changes the imei but never brings back the original one.plz help me with this one as well thanks again.

Hello,

What imei was in phone when you have got it ?
If phone has the same imei as at back label, you can write back original eeprom backup (it was created automatically during first unlock attempt).
