I HAVE 5pcs with me and although i have changed the language to English not everything comes in English there are many applications that are in only chinese .. Member: 197538 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 97 | Thanks I did search with this file name : NEOTEL25_08B_GEMINI_PCB01_GPRS_MT6225_S00.MAUI_08B _W08_52_MP_V22_F2 and i got this file name from support Eeeprom and Firmware : eeprom: NEOTEL25_08B_GEMINI_PCB01_GPRS_MT6225_S00.MAUI_08B _W08_52_MP_V22_F2__NOKIA-8800e_ffs_01.B0E.bin firmware: NEOTEL25_08B_GEMINI_PCB01_GPRS_MT6225_S00.MAUI_08B _W08_52_MP_V22_F2__NOKIA-8800e_16m_En_Ru_Id_Tr_Ar.B0M.bin Is this correct ? and should i flash both eeprom and firmware or only firmware to change languages in the N97 app ? I have never flashed a chinese phone so please help me one time and since these are new working phones i dont want to kill them .. I have made full back up of flash file Thanks Mike |

Member: 197538 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 97 | Also regarding above issue i have noted that the firmware i downloaded is Nokia-8800e_16M while the flash ID of N97 reads as flash: Amd AMD/Fujitsu std [D 0004x010000 007Ex040000 0004x010000] 32Mb Also the size of eeprom file of N97 is 134KB and the size i downloaded is 90.2KB Is this a problem with compatibility or No ? Please answer me so i can go ahead and flash this phone thanks mike |
