Hi infinity team
i have here one nec E101 that won't connect after many try with power switch somtimes i get this
Press Power button now !
Connecting, wait...
Err: wrong answer1[]
Boot Fail
Finished
Remove/Install battery now !
Time used: 91 sec
the phone is from O2 the cable is working 100% tested with other phones i have
also checked phone jack from inside with multimeter all seems good and test also serial activity with comreader communication is good as i can see ATR from phone when powering on

Hello,

I am sure that it's problem with cable. Pls, try to cut plastic around metal pin more to be sure that connector is completely inside phone. This can helps. Really, I don't have any other idea than cable problem.

I also got same problem then i take that cable out a little from phone's connector and it got connected, also try this.

i have cut plastic around the metal jack already before posting here and it's not cable problem
do these phone have all same booting algo that what we need to know

I also same problem my cable have not plastic deep and it metal which cannot cut I try also cable come with padfinder but still not connect so I direct sold cable but still not work. anyone have solution? problem is SIM MEP lock failed. Waiting for your kind response.

Hello,

Are you sure that you have use 4-pins hands-free cable ?
If you tried to solder wires to PCB and still no luck you can try to swap RX <-> Tx wires
