how to make cable step by step

hello!

take any cable with RJ45 connector. make sure that pins 2,3, 8 is present.
In my case this is colurs white, red, orange.

Infinity box pinout is:
2 -TX
3 -RX
8- GND

in our case this means that:
TX is RED
RX is WHITE
GND is ORANGE

now take Spice 404 pinout picture from our support area
http://www.infinity-box.com/download...-S400_S404.jpg
and connect wires according they colurs and should get this:

as you can see at the point where wires goes under battery i used thin wires,
so they let battery to fit in.

I am sure that select program from Shell manager
set phone model and comport you will be able without Video.
Then just push "Unlock"

if anything needs explaned more- please ask, i will edit my posting

hello!

easyest way is to check with multimeter

Formingus 04-15-2007 09:43

Infinity tell me how
a littel explanation how......

InfinityHelp 04-15-2007 10:28

hello!

put multimeter in resistance measuring mode.
set one pin of multimeter to pin 2 of RJ45 connector.
with other multimeter pin you check one by one all wires which comes out of cable. All pins will have no connection and only one will show 0 Ohm. This wire will be number 2 of RJ45. which means box TX wire. Same way you can find RX.

hello!
photo is not clear enought, but i will try.
as i can see you need to put multimeter on black mark (8 o'clock if we compare with regular clock ring). it is marked with Diode symbol. Ground is pin 7 of RJ45. As i can on picture you count pins from a right side. From left to right.
