yes griffin can unlock this phone. this is from official page:
Vodafone 225 can be unlocked with new version of Griffin Server Access (v. 1.36)

Please note: Before calculating codes for this phone, check for any remaining attempts to enter codes. At this moment, we don?t have a solution for resetting counters. To check the counters, insert the SIM card into the phone from a provider other than the one locked, and then check for digits allowed to be entered. We don?t restore credits for the phones for which all attempts to enter codes have been used.

but about unlock vodafone 226 im think direct unlock posoibe with TP soulutions !

i think what you have you unlock through gt sever by griffin but for other way you can't, i do repair the blocked one after inter wrong code of other sp network lock, i have speciat card which can able to reset full system as motorola card, if you want i sold the clone one for usd 50 but is very secrety
