New CM2SP2 user

Hello. I am a new CM2SP2 user.

I have been using CM2SPD successfully since its a straightforward and easy to use software.
But the problems I face are:

1) I am failing to use CM2SP2. I checked FAQ section on infinity website, and also in this GSM-hosting Forum but i cant find proper instructions (documentation or video) on using CM2SP2. I want to use CM2SP2 to flash phones (android 8 and android 9), remove FRP and read full ROM (dump). How do I do these? Where can i get instructions?

2) Second issue is that I am failing to read spd8810/6820, i cant find it in the CM2SPD list. How do i fix this?

Thank you in advance for your responses

Software work is beyond reading instruction or documentation or watching video. Please GO AND LEARN work before you lay your hand on this work.

Yusuf, how will I learn if I cant ask other people for help?
You may have been lucky to find someone to teach you, I havnt.
I currently use MiracleBox, Chimera, DC-Phoenix, Z3X and all these softwares I learnt reading documentation or viewing videos. What wrong is it for me to request help from fellow users?

If you cant help, i feel its best you keep your comments to yourself. Incase you didnt realise it, this forum is for people to help each

We are trying make software easy as possible.
If you want make some operation - press its button and follow instraction.
If need - SW will show some additional hints, which require to make.
Basic actions, if we talk about SPD - just make Identify once for device model and then do need operation.
SW explain that hint, if you don't do that first.

If you have some more deep misunderstanding - let us know, maybe we need to make something more easy and user-friendly.

You need to select correct boot before proceeding with any service operation in infinity.

However, it may be also noted that, infinity does not support booting old CPU what you have mentioned in your post I.e. SPD6820/8810.

Thank you.
Any more doubt, you are free to ask..

If you reset FRP with SP2 that mean you have idea which boot select. Anyway, lets check basics :

SPRD require select correct boot, which is 3 parts :
  1. CPU
  2. FLASH TYPE ( override it for 99% of mobiles to eMMC )
  3. RAM SIZE ( typical 512MB, 1Gb. High-middle 2GB,3GB )

In most cases google + model info allow you find it specs ( CPU + RAM ammount ) that is enough to find correct boot.

In some instances, phone would have been rebranded by the service provider and google wouldnt be able to provide necessary information concerning specifications. For example, right now I have a MASCOM L850 and there isnt much information online.

(See the phone here, www<dot>mascom<dot>bw/product/mascom-l850/)
Sorry i cant post direct link.

How do i find boot on such phones?

Code:
-OS: Android GO
-Internal memory: 8GB + 1GB User available internal memory: 4GB
That is enough.
If it on SPRD and GO edition - then it sure SC7731E with 1GB ram.

Boots in model list, all inside. Select BASE 7731E , then type. Same way you can do for select other versions.
There is exists GENERIC loaders and MODEL-specific.
After sucessfull identify SW will update own DB and add your device in menu of available models.
That is explained in update logs.

Lets divide them to 2 types :
OLD SPRD - all before android GO
NEW UNISOC (E literal after , i.e. 7731E/9832E ... ) - all on Android GO, 8 , 9

From OS revision easy to understand much - for ex - GO in 95% mean SC7731E as slowest CPU in family.
SC9832E/SC9850/SC9863 is more faster and have clean os, not reduced ones.
