O2x3 to S700 is possible - GSM-Forum

yesterday i have received O2x3 that power on without sim but with sim it won't power on, first i have made a backup and flash it with "O2X3_E05-1.22.01_Main_En_De.2FM.bin" but same result then i have make a search in google and i found that O2x3 and S700 looks same , i decide to flash it with S700 " S700_E05-1.50.10_Main_En_Fr_De.2FM.bin" and the tricky works ,the phone power with or without sim

Hi,

Yes, it's possible. But always make backup before flash O2X3 to S700 (or S700 to O2X3) because some PCB has small hw difference and it can be that after flashing phone will work not good.

Until now, the phone work good but i known't the user code i have tryed to reset the user code by selecting both "O2x3 & S700" but the soft display code user not detected ...
I have make it "the Fubu", if you want it i can send it to you just demand it

Hi,

No need to send it.
As about user code: in nearest future we will try to improve "user code" option for these models. Now in your phone user code problem can take place due to slightly different eeprom structure for O2X3 and S700.
