i have 2 chinese phones tripping off if only if sim is inserted.i was able to read phone information as follows:

phone 1

Action: read information
Model: Autodetect
Checking data, wait...
Phone should be Switched ON !
Connecting, wait...
Phone detected, wait...

Hardware version: BR26_05C_HW
Software version: BR26_22.22"

each of them cect p168 and nokia n85i on clicking on "READ DETAILED INFORMATION,ASK/RPL"it dispalys

check your cable at first step

i used two different sets with there usb cables and they give same results only com port changed moreover the same cable generates the phones in4mations

Dear Friend,

You must use Rx/Tx/Gnd cable but NOT usb cable !
