Pinfinder adapter can't power on the phone

I have a big problem with my pinfinder adapter, it can't power on the phone with the appropriate RG45 port witch it's possible with infinity only
maybe pinfinder damaged ????
IN RESUME (alimentaion does not work with pinfinder adapter)
is there any solution or must I return it to the reseller ?

hello!

some PC ports do not give enough power to power On phone completely.
But this power is enough for finding pinout and flashing phone.
So dont worry, just follow user manual and you get success in pinout search.
also please check if you using Battery positive terminal, not Btemp contact.
THis is most common problem when phone not powering on

Hello,

Are you sure that you have shorted diode well ?
What is voltage value at your PC USB port ?

hello!

this voltage is enough for success pinout search as long as you are able to power On phone which is sourced from pinfinder.
and another main rule: you must check that your phone is MT62xx CPU based.

and the third: some phones just dont keep tx/rx in system connector and you anyway have to disassemble phone and search for test points

hello!

no need to open pinfinder. Just open mian infinity box and shortcut that diode. It is usless component, its limiting output voltage from 5 volt to 4,2
