Pinfinder Led Problem..

Hello infinity,

pls i have a problem with my pinfinder, just recently it started behaving funny, it was formally detecting phones but now i figured out that pinfinder can connect to software but won't find any phone, secondly i figured that when i press power on in software, the red light is supposed to remain steadily on, but in my case, it doesn't come on at all and so no phone connects. Pls help me out as i have alot of phones on my desk to take care of. Software connects to pinfinder perfectly but doesn't detects phone and when i press power on phone in software, the red light doesn't come on at all. I even tried powering a working phone with the + and - and clicked on power on phone in software, but doesn't work.

Hello,

Did you checked what is voltagfe level at unibox pin-1 ?
If voltage is less than 5v please see PinFinder manual page 20.

I've done that far long before the problem started. I've short pinned the unibox according to page 20 of pinfinder's manual and it was working well before the problem started of late. Now i really don't know where the problem is coming from. Pls infinity help, i really don't want to think that my pinfinder is broken

Hello,

Just take multimeter and check voltage at pins 1 and 7 (or 8) of your unibox.
How to measure volatage: see Infinity-Box University project Lessons sticky thread.
