Alcatel OT707 - GSM-Forum

Hello,

I would like to unlock this model via INFINITY box. As I read I should use unlocked flash a flash the phone. I downloaded all flashes for this type from the support area but it seems to be all are locked to MOVISTAR. So good idea but where to find out them ? I made full flash backup, eeprom backup, everything working but simlock noway :-( Unfortunately the latest version 2.34 mmodule.exe doesn't support direct unlock - the simplest way ( for myself of course ;-) ).

You can use C701 simfree files.

I flashed the OT707 with non-locked OT701 flash and everything seems to be O.K. , european languages, it shows full signal but when I want to make a call the screen gets black and phone freezes but I can turn if off. I made also Reset Code: *#73738# but still the same :-( Any idea ? Flash via COM1 is about 40 minutes so I'm asking before trying all non-locked flashes for OT701.

Is your phone C707A or 707X ?

Also try to flash phone with one of latest firmware: C701X-2BSVRU1_XC19EK22_JRD26_06A_PCB01_GPRS_MT6226_S02.M AUI_06A_W06_52_SP1_V24_2008-03-03_En_De_Ru_Bg_Ua_simfree_Svyaznoi.B0M.bin

why not flash via ftdi port? it takes about 15 minutes
