Member: 115172 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 212 | (((Please solve my problem))) I'd heard so much about the benefits and advantages of Infinity-box.Such an applicable box with lots of abilities.Thanks alot! First of all i want to copmlain from "SimSim Electronics"(introduced in www.infinity-box.com as your reseller in Dubai) for selling second hand box  as a new one.I live in Iran and asked my friend to fetch me one from SimSim.Got my infinity box few days ago but seems physically damaged in some ways. All the screws seem to be opened before and the F-BUS*M-BUS switch doesn't work.The first time i installed the box and the driver,hadn't noticed to these problems.Installed all the softwares.Started working with my box and then story started. When i connect infinity to any PC,instantly restarts the PC.Changed the USB cable,installed on different PCs,the most thing that happens is that software starts,detects standard firmware and the Sn of my box.Then at COM port selection PC restarts.This was tested on 3 PCs  Now i tried on the 4th PC.Software opens. COM20 selected Action: Format Device: SE J100 Checking data, wait... Connect... Press and HOLD Power button... Err: boot[02]: Release Power button ! Connect Fail Failed ! Finished Remove/Install battery now ! Time used: 62 sec I'm using UB K750i cable,cuiser and whatever K750 cable i have.The same result. Please help i have at lease 100 sete of J100.Is the problem with F-BUS*M-BUS swith or the cable or anything else, Last edited by meisam; 11-23-2006 at 17:55. |

Member: 130995 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 35,227 | Hello, As about "Sim-Sim Electronics": it's very good, honest and trustable supplier. I never heard anything bad about this company. Also, I know company owner personally very long time and he is really good, profesional and trustable person, helps me a lot in many situations. About your problem: if you received box in bad condition why you did not contacted to reseller ? I think that it's not hard to contact him and solve little problem with Unibox replacement. Also it can be that box was damaged during delivery. Some ways how to solve problem: 1. Contact to your reseller and describe the problem. He can replace box or give you an advices what to do. 2. You can use any other Unibox with built-in card reader. Ordinary retail price of unibox is about 30 usd. 3. you can use separate smart-card reader (retail prioce is 5-10 usd), insert smart-card in it and use software with any cables that you can find. So, please, contact to your reseller, describe he problem and I am sure that problem will be solved fast. Quote:

If possible,give me exact hint about the pinout for J100 cable.Wha's the mystery of this cable? Box has no communication with the phone Last edited by meisam; 11-23-2006 at 18:09. |

Member: 130995 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 35,227 | SE J100 pinout was posted here a lot of times: Keyboard top 1.....12 9: Gnd 10: phone Rx 11: phone Tx Unibox: it's box with PCB inside. PCB contain FTDI usb-rs232 converter. latest Uniboxes has built-in smart-card reader inside. |
