Smile Problem with Pin Finder Adapter

Hi infinity Team

i have problem with my Pin Finder Adapter

still can't power on the phone, when power is active on Pin-Finder Software and Red led is active, i mesure voltage in the crocodile, it balance between 2.2v and 3.87v, i try different PC's. when i change in other USB 2.0 port, i got about 4.11V, but phone still can't power on, or sometime it just start power on then shut-down.

i try more then 5 chineses working phone, N77, N95, DuBao ...

it's appear like current problem not voltage problem

any idea??

thx

Hello,

Please, check what is voltage on your PC USB port and what is voltage on pin-1 at Unibox RJ45.
It may be that something wrong with Unibox, so let's check it first.

Hello,

I think that problem is with voltage at pin-1. If box is not sealed try to open it and replace (or just short) protection diode that goes from USB +5V to pin-1.
It looks like big voltage loss took place on it.

Also, if you have any other unibox you can try to use it instead of slim.

problem solved after changing the last passif diode (the big one) under RJ45 connector

it's was unormal, input = 5.01, output = 4.61 and sometime down

now the voltage on pin1 of RJ45 connector, is same like on USB, 5.01V

and the Pin Finder work normally

@zinoubi nabil
still my new infinity slim under warranty or not?!!?

thx infinity team

Hello,

For pinout detection and flash process it's enough if phone can start to power-on (but it's not required to power-on phone completely and find network).

same for me, some phone can't power on properly, but all job can be done (find pinout, format, flash, repair...)

problem still in some needed mA, maybe an external power supply is needed for Pin-Finder V2, or check the regulator inside Pin-Finder adapter, maybe must be replaced by another
