Redmi 5 plus 64gb became 32gb after flash ! - GSM-Forum

I succefully revived redmi 5 plus 64gb with global firmware (was stuck after OTA update),but after flash the storage became only 32gb !
I thought maybe the phone was on china rom that's why
any help thank you

Hello,
Post flashing logs.
Flashing with correct firmware is generally enough.
Factory reset from phone menu once and check result.

i get an idea i don't if it will work ,this phone is china version ,but i flashed global firmware
maybe if i write the file responsible of repartitioning the phone it will be fixed,i copy it from official firmware,but i don't know which file

If you post both china version rawprogram*.xml and one from global version,
maybe something can be done ....

Put phone in slide mode volume up and power key then open qc fire then fectory reset in xiome tab it will be done

I dont think that factory reset on another box,
Will "magically" do the repartition at the same time.

I'm uploading 3 files ,one from infinity firmware which i used ,the second from global official firmware,and the third from chinese official version
by the way i already tried hard reset,i tried other tool without result

Since your phone is chinese variant so better flash with china stable version.

already tried that ,storage still just 32gb,also done hardreset but same result
btw miflash tool gives error ,the only way i done it is by copying boot,recovery,system,cache,userdata files into infinity firmware folder
there must be something wrong about repartitioning

Hello. That happen because you made readout from 32GiB version.
We have already tested new universal repart method in BEST NK2 module, it added in QLM also. Release version will follow at monday.
