Hello,

You can see cable pinout for VK in our support area.
Also, if you have unibox VK cable it have to work too, but can't tell anything exacly about RedBox cable, we don't checked RedBox cable pinout.
You can test cables this way: connect cable that you have and try to read firmware from VK. If read process can start this means that cable is Ok.

As about Unlock. Our first VK software release don't have Unlock option, it's just a flasher to repair software bugs with old firmwares. Unlock function will be implemented on days.
