Smart-Card/Dongle/Box update problems and solutions


Dear Sirs,

If you have a problem with your Box/Dongle Smart-Card please copy/paste here text given by Infinity DongleManager software.

- Copy/paste ONLY TEXT but not pictures and/or video !
- Do not update your Smart-Card many times to avoid permanent Smart-Card damage !


- If you have Card-Reader Type FT SCR2000 you should use special Card-Reader Drivers - CardReader_Fetian_FT2K.7z
Drivers version after installation should be 2.5.6.0823 or 2.5.9.1202
Download files - https://www.infinity-box.com/support/?r=6

- If you have DITS CCID Smart Card Reader you should use another Card-Reader because this Card-Reader may damage your Smart-Card permanently !

- For today best results gives Alcor Smart-Card Readers.

you must read an instruction Dongle misconfiguration - How to fix and attach fault.bin file.

Hello,

Install required Card-Reader Drivers:
- File with Drivers: CardReader_Fetian_FT2K.7z
- File with Instruction: Infinity-Box_How_to_update_FT_SCR2000_CardReader_drivers.pd f
Drivers version after installation should be 2.5.6.0823 or 2.5.9.1202
Download files - https://www.infinity-box.com/support/?r=6

OR

Insert Smart-Card into another Card-Reader (good result for today is with Alcor Card-Reader)

The next steps are:

- run DongleManager
- update Dongle firmware


IMPORTANT: only ONE update try is allowed so in case of problem DO NOT try to update card again !
