Keep in mind I do have ODIN and Comsey ODIN but I am specifically referencing flashing in EDL mode.. All the programs so far seem to require the program/elf file to be flashed while the device in EDL. It's also a Sammy phone so it does not contain fastboot as we all know it lol. I did however see over on XD A on the Axon 7 device they were able to use EDL to pretty much flash what they want, even TWRP on a locked bootloader.. They used a modified fastboot that essentially can only pull the boot/recovery or flash boot/recovery but it does not work on the S8 (different devices I suppose?) | |
