As long as factory flashers exist, all will be fine.

regarding signed firmwares, it just means, users must use factory signed firmwares for flashing their phones,
rest of operations (frp, simlock, etc.) will still work.
Flash reading of such phones and writing to another same device won't work.

Some ASUS mtk devices use Prealoader booting, it's rare, but exists.

Well ... MTK CPU's were designed with very tight secirty in their basis,
it's good that very limited security options are yet as of NOW used.
It can be much much worse than you think.
(No firmware reading at all, no modify any partition without factory online auth, no FW writing without online handshake/auth, bla bla).

Don't want to scare you people, but it's all possible from MT6580 and up.
Some of those things even on older MT6582 ...

There are enough e-Fuses in MTK, to close all today's HOLES, if fused by factory.
Example : MTK FP Phones by Nokia/HMD.
Not even android phones, but Feature Phones, but with several security fuses bl0wn.


Problem is, too many people are living for GLORY today,
and if they have factory support access, they put random stuff on forums,
just for their 5 minutes of GLORY ...
And people from Lenovo, Alcatel etc. are not stupid, they read forums,
advance their security, and in future - more people will cry...

I don't want to give examples, but there are many, either here,
or on other forums.
